Prisca Maier

After four years of acting training at the AdK Ulm, Prisca Maier worked at the MoKS, the children’s and youth theatre at Bremer Theater, for seven years. She also worked in Hamburg, Berlin, Mannheim and St. Gallen, mainly as an actress for young audiences. Furthermore, she worked in other functions and areas at German-speaking theatres, be it as a theatre pedagogue, director or dramaturge, e.g. at the St. Gallen Theatre, where she was responsible for the children’s and young people’s theatre section and, among other things, directed “The Tightrope Dancer” by Mike Kenny for a young audience. She was an ensemble member at JES since its founding in 2004 until the 2016/2017 season.
She also worked freelance for five years: as a theatre pedagogue, especially in language support at Stuttgart KITAS and in further education, but also as a speaker/actor at various family concerts by the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra and the Southwest German Philharmonic Orchestra of Constance. She has been the director of the Böblingen Music and Art School since March 2017.
