All venues and workshop rooms (theatre hall, upper foyer, rehearsal stage, studios) can be reached by lift. The descriptions are given live during the performance via transmitters with corresponding headphones.<br><br>For blind and visually impaired guests, we regularly offer performances with tactile guidance and audio description for selected plays. Dates can be found in the calendar.<br><br>The tactile guidance tour takes place one hour before the performance begins. Here you can touch and get a feel for parts of the stage set, props and costumes. There is a tactile model in which the stage set is modelled. In some performances, the actors introduce themselves and describe themselves. Furthermore, a person will describe important, visible processes of the play to you.<br><br>You can register for an audio description when you book your ticket.<br><br>Registration is absolutely necessary for the audio tour. If required, we will reserve a seat in the front row for you. We\u2019re happy to pick you up at the nearest bus or train stop. You can recognise performances with DGS on our website and on our monthly pass by a symbol with two hands. Sometimes we also write &#8220;with German Sign Language on stage&#8221;.<br><br>We always have tickets for deaf people. Even if the performance says &#8220;sold out&#8221;, you can write us: <a href=\"mailto:ticket@jes-stuttgart.de\">ticket@jes-stuttgart.de<\/a><br><br>There is a newsletter that you can subscribe to by contacting Marie (<a href=\"mailto:marie.herholz@jes-stuttgart.de\">marie.herholz@jes-stuttgart.de<\/a>). It&#8217;s called &#8220;JES and inclusion&#8221;. In it you will find the next dates with DGS.<br><br>Some of our employees have basic knowledge of DGS. If you are visiting us at JES, you will recognise these people by a tag. Pen and paper is also always available for writing.<br><br>There is free seating in all performances. If it helps you to have a specific seat, please let us know. We can reserve a seat for you where you can see the DGS interpreter particularly well. We can also save you a seat for other reasons.<br><br>Please let us know if early entrance would help you.
