I also completed a degree in cultural education with a focus on art and film in 2019 and I really enjoy combining interpreting with artistic work and occasionally accompanying exciting theatre projects throughout Germany or interpreting on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In addition, I work regularly at forums, festivals and workshops in the field of inclusive theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I was part of Bright View at JES twice. Since the 2022\/2023 season I have been involved as an interpreter in the productions \u2018Aus der Kurve fliegen\u2019 and \u2018Unb\u00e4ndig\u2019. We examine feelings here \u2014 that is, we examine them.\u201d<br>Four people welcome you to their workplace at the beginning of their shift. They let you participate in their tests and experiments, you become a witness to their efforts to measure, compare and describe feelings. Does wanderlust come from far away? Is disappointment greater than homesickness? The play is accessible for hearing and deaf children and families. (Deaf includes different identities and lived realities such as deaf, hard of hearing, Ci wearers and later-deaf).<br><br>\"Unb\u00e4ndig\" contains integrated interpreting into German sign language. \"Integrated interpreting\" means that the interpreter does not stand at the edge of the stage, but is visible to on stage with the other actors. She translates a large part of the spoken and sung text by other actors. The interpreter also plays a role in the play. She stands on stage in a way that the audience can easily follow the translation and the plot of the play. Individual words and sentences are signed by the other actors.
