In 2018 I completed further education in theatre and music management at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-transform:uppercase\">Elsewhere<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I have been working as a freelance director in theatre for young audiences since 2010. In addition to JES, I have directed at Staatstheater Mainz, GRIPS Theater Berlin, moks junges theatre Bremen, jungen LTT T\u00fcbingen, and at Schauburg Munich, among others. Since 2010 I have also been working as a translator of theatre texts from English into German. Since summer 2019, I have been a member of the board of trustees of the Landesverband der Kunstschulen Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg (State Association of Art Schools Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-transform:uppercase\">JES! And ME<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As a freelance director, I have staged \u201cDie besten Beerdigungen der Welt\u201d, \u201cDie Abenteuer des starken Wanja\u201d, \u201cUnsere gro\u00dfe Welt\u201d, \u201cDie Bademattenrepublik\u201d and \u201cUnb\u00e4ndig\u201d at JES. From 2014 to 2022 I was also one of the organisational and production managers of Bright View. Two actors have founded a state to defy a monstrous danger and invite children to become its first citizens.<br><br>Together they dive into an adventure of intergalactic proportions, playfully testing social coexistence and determining who decides, and thus take on the small issue of saving the world.<br><br>Playfully and embedded in an exciting story, the children experience the encouraging feeling that they are a serious part of society.That it is worthwhile to raise one's own voice - and to fight for this fundamental right.<br><br>This play can also be booked on-site for classrooms. The audience is asked to change their position in the room and take on small roles and tasks. She translates a large part of the spoken and sung text by other actors. The interpreter also plays a role in the play. She stands on stage in a way that the audience can easily follow the translation and the plot of the play. Individual words and sentences are signed by the other actors. The play is accessible for hearing and deaf children and families. (Deaf includes different identities and lived realities such as deaf, hard of hearing, Ci wearers and later-deaf).<br><br>This performance contains integrated interpreting into German sign language. \"Integrated interpreting\" means that the interpreter does not stand at the edge of the stage but is visible to on stage with the other actors. She translates a large part of the spoken and sung text by other actors. The interpreter also plays a role in the play. She stands on stage in a way that the audience can easily follow the translation and the plot of the play. Individual words and sentences are signed by the other actors. The list has grown and grown over the years, approaching a million: 999,997. The alphabet, 999,9998. Inappropriate songs in emotional moments, 999,999. Completing a task....<br><br>A courageous, life-affirming and thought-provoking play about absent parents, faithful companions and big and small life decisions. performance, JES will be loud, colourful, emotional - and embarrassing. Because shame is the theme of the first musical in JES history. With everything that goes with it: emotional songs, a pop band, a large cast, dance choreography and a love story.<br><br>Even if it's not talked about much, shame is a defining issue in many people's everyday lives. To find out more about it, we send four young characters to an art museum. Their task, set by the school, is to enter into a dialogue with a work of art. By attempting this (more or less seriously), they not only encounter very different perspectives on ways of life and boundaries of shame. Here you can feel parts of the stage set, props and costume pieces. There is a tactile model in which the stage set is modelled. Denn Scham ist das Thema des ersten Musicals der JES-Geschichte. Mit allem, was dazu geh\u00f6rt: gef\u00fchlvollen Songs, einer Pop-Band, einer gro\u00dfen Besetzung und Tanzchoreografien.<br><br>Auch wenn wenig dr\u00fcber gesprochen wird, ist Scham ein pr\u00e4gendes Thema im Alltag vieler (junger) Menschen. Wie beeinflusst das gesellschaftliche Konstrukt von Scham unsere Pers\u00f6nlichkeitsentwicklung? Welche Auswirkungen hat Scham auf den Umgang mit K\u00f6rper und Sexualit\u00e4t?<br><br>Um das herauszufinden, schicken wir vier junge Figuren in ein KI*-gesteuertes Museum. Ihre von der Schule hinterlegte Aufgabe ist, mit einem Kunstwerk in Dialog zu treten. Indem sie dies (mehr oder weniger ernsthaft) versuchen, begegnen sie nicht nur sehr unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen auf Lebensformen und Schamgrenzen. Sie werden vor allem mit sich selbst konfrontiert und dann auch noch mit den schamhaft verborgenen Geheimnissen ihrer Mitsch\u00fcler*innen. Schwierig genug, aber noch einigerma\u00dfen zu bew\u00e4ltigen, solange es im gesch\u00fctzten Rahmen ausgetestet und ausgelebt wird. Die sechs fordern sich auf der JES-B\u00fchne selbst und gegenseitig heraus: Maxi und Ang\u00e9lica testen, wie weit sie gehen k\u00f6nnen. Estelle singt: \u201eMein Leben ist ein zu gro\u00dfes Risiko, deswegen bleibe ich hier f\u00fcr immer so\u201c \u2013 ist sich aber sicher, dass das doch auch irgendwie anders gehen muss. Stefan versucht zu fliegen, Jule sich fallen zu lassen und Lola erz\u00e4hlt vielleicht von ihren Narben.<br>Alle sechs stellen sich ihren Herausforderungen, W\u00fcnschen und \u00c4ngsten, versuchen nochmal und nochmal anders und wollen wissen: Wo sind Grenzen, wie k\u00f6nnen sie gefunden, gewahrt, gesetzt oder gesprengt werden?<br><br>\u201eAus der Kurve fliegen\u201c macht Mut, sich zu vertrauen und gemeinsam das Leben trotz, aber auch wegen seiner Unsicherheiten zu feiern. In keeping with the hustle and bustle, there is a confusing mix of different languages in the air, Portuguese and German, both spoken and signed.<br><br>Everything somehow happens at the same time, is interwoven, wants to be discovered, processed and spun further until, in interaction with the others, a completely unique hidden object world is created. At one point, music comes from a small music box on the stage.<br><br>- There are video recordings on stage.<br><br>- There is a large, grey cube on the stage. The actors unfold the cube and dismantle the walls. Each wall of the cube looks different.<br><br>- There are many large and small objects. For example, a rubbish bin, small figurines and a human-sized carrot. The objects are carried, pushed and placed on the stage by the actors. Some objects appear suddenly.<br><br>- The actors often disappear behind the cube and then reappear. Fortunately, he gets help from Alva, the lighthouse keeper's daughter, who at least knows how to steer a ship. Here you can feel parts of the stage set, props and costume pieces. The actors introduce themselves and describe themselves. In addition, particularly visual scenes of the production are described.<br><br>A number of tickets is available for people who require audio description.
