Larissa Probst studied cultural studies and cultural mediation at the University of Hildesheim. She has been working as a freelance theatre mediator and director in Stuttgart since 2020. From 2014 to 2018, she researched new participatory modes of staging strategies for young audiences with her theatre collective BwieZack and developed productions with and for hearing and deaf young people. Her productions were performed at Junges Theater G\u00f6ttingen, LOT-Theater in Braunschweig and the Graz Opera, among others. Since 2018, her work has focussed in particular on intergenerational staging concepts and collaborations and their positioning in a discourse critical of adultism. From 2020 to 2023 she was a member of the board of trustees of the Children’s and Youth Theatre Centre of the Federal Republic of Germany. Since the 2020\/21 season, Larissa has been a guest assistant director in dance and theatre productions at Junges Ensemble Stuttgart and a theatre educator in the KiTa cooperation project. In 2022, together with Frederic Lilje, she led the artistic collaboration \u2018Kinderarbeitsagentur\u2019. She has been amployed in the dramaturgy department of theatre education since 2024.

Actually, everything was as it always was. Balthasar spent almost every afternoon with his grandmother Monika, until his parents stopped immersing themselves in work and came to pick him up. But this time they were going to go away on a work trip, so this time Balthasar would spend the night with Grandma Monika ecause Balthasar is with his grandmother so often, he also knows her little secret: her forgetfulness and the trouble she has finding the right words, not only when doing crossword puzzles together.

On this evening, however, Balthasar notices that his grandmother's memories and connections suddenly disappear from her mind more and more often. What happens when she forgets herself at some point? Who, then, was Grandma Monika? Together, grandmother and grandson set off in search of her memories and biographical traces. The kitchen becomes the parcourse of a long and eventful life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following stimuli appear in places<\/strong> in the production:

- Use of loud music, an electric guitar, microphones and kitchen appliances used as musical instruments.
- Rapid light changes, colorful and dim light and a lamp that flickers. In one scene, circles of light move across the stage.
- A curtain of balls hangs around the stage, making noises and glittering in the light.
- At one moment, rose petals are thrown into the air.
- An actress shows great emotion and throws a cup on the floor in one scene. The cup breaks.
- The audience sits on wooden benches throughout the performance and should keep quiet.

In the summer of 2022, the Children\u2019s Employment Agency will open at Torstra\u00dfe 15 (Phase 1). We place, accompany and professionalise the employees \u2014 the participating children \u2014 of the agency. We offer mediation services between potential clients and our experts. The experts are children between the ages of seven and twelve who work on, prepare, carry out and document the work assignments.

In a second step, we develop questions regarding the concept of work as a type of service and the construct of a capitalist society based on the children's insights and experiences in the work assignments.

In phase 2, the office becomes a counselling centre for work, the children's employment agency. Working adults arrange counselling sessions and question their everyday working life and their attitude towards work together with the experts.

The project seeks to shake up basic assumptions about children, their abilities and places of action in the city of Stuttgart. The agency is a place where negotiation processes, participation and critical practice are practised and realised. Here, social orders and structural hierarchies are experienced, questioned and, in the best case scenario, lead to a process of re-articulation.

In dieser Fortbildung f\u00fcr Theatermacher*innen <\/em>und P\u00e4dagog*innen stellen wir \u00dcbungen, Konzepte und Strategien vor, wie Theater zum performativen Aushandlungsraum wird. Wichtiger denn je scheint es mit Kindern und Jugendlichen in einen Dialog, in eine Auseinandersetzung mit der Welt, gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen und Fragestellungen zu kommen. \u00dcber die Prinzipien der Behauptung, der Intervention und der Fremdheitserfahrung kommen wir in ein praktisches Ausprobieren, um Themen spielerisch erlebbar zu machen.

Die performativen Strategien k\u00f6nnen nutzbar gemacht werden f\u00fcr die Erarbeitung eines Theaterprojekts, die thematische Suche im Unterricht und politische\/gesellschaftliche Aushandlungsr\u00e4ume. In der Fortbildung probieren wir gemeinsam praktische \u00dcbungen aus und tauschen uns \u00fcber den theoretischen Hintergrund von Performance, Intervention und Theater au\u00dferhalb des B\u00fchnenraumes aus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein Raum voller \u00c4ngste: sie liegen, stehen, h\u00e4ngen, nehmen Raum ein. Mal klitzeklein, fast unscheinbar, mal ganz gro\u00df.
Das Publikum wird in \u201eDie Angst ist ein abstrakter Popel\u201c eingeladen, sich gemeinsam mit den Angst-Fachexpert*innen den \u00c4ngsten im Raum zu stellen und mutig zu sein. Es wird sortiert, geschoben, gesucht, ausgemessen, genau hingeh\u00f6rt und \u00fcber den eigenen Schatten gesprungen.
Dabei tauchen wichtige Fragen auf: Wann gruselt uns die Angst? Wann hilft sie uns und wann kann Angst auch Spa\u00df machen? Erscheint uns die Angst manchmal sogar gr\u00f6\u00dfer, als sie in Wirklichkeit ist? Wie ein abstrakter Popel?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hey, wir sind die Philos, der Jugendbeirat vom JES!

Wir sind eine Gruppe junger Menschen, die sich f\u00fcr Theater begeistern und bei Fragen rund ums JES mitdenken und mitsprechen. Wir begleiten St\u00fcckentwicklungsprozesse und vertreten dabei die Perspektive von Jugendlichen. Zusammen schauen wir St\u00fccke, setzen uns in sogenannten \u201eR\u00fcckspielen\u201c k\u00fcnstlerisch mit ihnen auseinander und wollen in Zukunft auch unser eigenes Theaterprojekt entwickeln.

Bei Theaterfestivals gestalten wir R\u00e4ume f\u00fcr einen offenen Austausch und Begegnungen wie zum Beispiel kreative Workshops, Chillout-Areas und M\u00f6glichkeiten zum Dialog.

2024\/25 haben wir zum Beispiel das Rahmenprogramm f\u00fcr das \u201eClubtopia. Junges Theaterfestival\u201c am JES aktiv mitgestaltet. Und wir haben uns als junge Vertreter*innen des Theaters in Mannheim und M\u00fcnchen mit anderen Jugendlichen und jungen K\u00fcnstler*innen vernetzt.

In der Spielzeit 2025\/26 machen wir ein eigenst\u00e4ndiges k\u00fcnstlerisches Projekt. Das Projekt hei\u00dft \u201eFreiRaum\u201c<\/a> und ist ein Versuch, wie Mitbestimmung im Theater k\u00fcnstlerisch umgesetzt werden kann.
