I was born in Bamberg in 1994. I began studying Theatre Studies, Philosophy and General and Comparative Literature at Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin in 2015, followed by dramaturgy at the August Everding Theatre Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elsewhere<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the theatre in Bamberg, I worked as an assistant in theatre education during my school years and was on stage as an extra and in the youth club. Afterwards, I interned at Deutsches Theater Berlin, Deutsche Oper and Landestheater Coburg, among others. In addition to my work at the theatre, I have worked at several festivals \u2013 especially as in guest relations \u2013 for example at the 33rd Bavarian Theatre Days, the 32nd International Short Film Festival interfilm Berlin, several editions of the Bamberg Short Film Festival and at UWE \u2013 das Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2020 onwards, I provided dramaturgical advice to several productions in the independent scene and, from the 20\/21 season onwards, worked in the dramaturgy department of Theater Niedersachsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are supposed to be best friends. For four years they experienced and did everything together, even had the same schoolbag. But now everything is different: the way to school is longer, the building is much bigger, teachers and classmates are new, students on the playground are no longer all smaller, but all bigger again. And challenges grow with the number of different subjects.

Soon they notice that they hardly have the same interests anymore. More and more often, they don't understand each other, with arguments building over time between the two friends \u2013 that is, if they are still friends at all. They don\u2019t talk much anymore That\u2019s difficult enough as it is, but then there\u2019s the school trip that is set to last several days. Here, they can no longer avoid each other. Rather reluctantly, they have to set off together, on an unexpectedly adventurous forest excursion.

With theatre at school the classroom becomes the stage: with our two new ensemble members Estelle and Lola we are developing a mobile play about friendship and the challenges of a new beginning at the intersection between primary and secondary school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- At the beginning of the play, the actors run into the room quickly and without announcement.
- The actors sit down on the tables between the pupils. They run over the tables and crawl under them. They run through the whole classroom.
- The actors disguise their voices and play different roles.
- The pupils are played directly.

One minute everything was calm, the next it's there: chaos. It lurks in moments when your way of dealing with something and my way of dealing with it collide. And it\u2019s also where the unexpected happens, for which I am so unprepared.

In a dance piece for audience members aged 2 and over, Lola and Selina go in search of ways to find their way in turbulent situations. In the process, it is not always easy to understand oneself or the other person: Why do you cause such chaos in me? How can I make you understand what this is doing to me? And how can we get through such a turbulent moment together? The two try out how they can tame the chaos on stage, they make plans and thwart them, dive into wild playfulness and deep contemplation, they tumble, rumble and roar through all the colours of chaos.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

- Use of recorded music and live instruments (accordion and ukulele) as well as several metronomes that tick in different rhythms. Metal buckets that produce sounds.

- Large stage elements that are moved.

- Colorful clothes that fly through the air and suddenly appear.

- A fluttering curtain at the back of the stage.

- The dancers hang in the air, stand on an elevated position and swing around a pole.

- The dancers talk to the audience at the beginning and at the end.

The dancers on stage range from young to old, with and without disabilities. Some of them are on stage for the first time. They open the luggage of their pasts. There are vastly different parcels: heavy, light, barely manageable, comfortable to carry, stuffed, new, previously unpacked. Their hands and bodies become surfaces that pick up the weight of these found objects, pass them on, put them down and whirl them around. They carry and are carried, they fall and they catch. This blurs the boundaries of their pasts and the individual's parcels become the parcels of others.

A play about wanting to run away and returning. About paying attention, even if someone keeps their door closed. About hope and hands that form a net to carry someone.

The dance theatre production takes place in collaboration with FUNDUS Theater, Hamburg and is a co-production with h\u00f6hne\/hoffmann.

- A few minutes into the piece, the musician suddenly loudly claps a rhythm into a microphone. Several people then emerge from behind a wall.

- There are rapid changes between light, dim light and darkness. There is a scene in which colourful points of light circle across the stage.

- There are various boxes on the stage. The boxes are moved, thrown, carried and stacked into high towers.

- There are brightly coloured LED boxes. Sometimes it is dark on stage and only these boxes light up.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Traust du dich das? \u2013 fragen sich Ang\u00e9lica, Lola, Maxi, Estelle, Stefan und Jule. Die sechs fordern sich auf der JES-B\u00fchne selbst und gegenseitig heraus: Maxi und Ang\u00e9lica testen, wie weit sie gehen k\u00f6nnen. Estelle singt: \u201eMein Leben ist ein zu gro\u00dfes Risiko, deswegen bleibe ich hier f\u00fcr immer so\u201c \u2013 ist sich aber sicher, dass das doch auch irgendwie anders gehen muss. Stefan versucht zu fliegen, Jule sich fallen zu lassen und Lola erz\u00e4hlt vielleicht von ihren Narben.
Alle sechs stellen sich ihren Herausforderungen, W\u00fcnschen und \u00c4ngsten, versuchen nochmal und nochmal anders und wollen wissen: Wo sind Grenzen, wie k\u00f6nnen sie gefunden, gewahrt, gesetzt oder gesprengt werden?

\u201eAus der Kurve fliegen\u201c macht Mut, sich zu vertrauen und gemeinsam das Leben trotz, aber auch wegen seiner Unsicherheiten zu feiern. Mit wummernden B\u00e4ssen, Elementen aus Breaking und zeitgen\u00f6ssischem Tanz l\u00e4dt \u201eAus der Kurve fliegen\u201c zum Eintauchen ein, zum \u00c4ngste \u00fcberwinden und Sehns\u00fcchte ausgraben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit Deutscher Geb\u00e4rdensprache auf der B\u00fchne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Vorstellung von \u201eAus der Kurve fliegen\u201c findet mit Deutscher Geb\u00e4rdensprache auf der B\u00fchne statt. Das St\u00fcck ist zug\u00e4nglich f\u00fcr h\u00f6rende und Taube Kinder und Familien. (Taub schlie\u00dft verschiedene Identit\u00e4ten und Lebensrealit\u00e4ten wie geh\u00f6rlos, schwerh\u00f6rig, CI-tragend sowie sp\u00e4tertaubt ein.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In diesem St\u00fcck gibt es eine integrierte Verdolmetschung in Deutsche Geb\u00e4rdensprache. \u201eIntegrierte Verdolmetschung\u201c bedeutet, dass die Dolmetscherin nicht am B\u00fchnenrand steht, sondern mit den anderen Spielerinnen auf der B\u00fchne. Sie \u00fcbersetzt einen Gro\u00dfteil gesprochenen und gesungenen Textes der anderen Spielerinnen. Sie au\u00dferdem selbst eine Rolle im St\u00fcck. Sie steht dabei immer so auf der B\u00fchne, dass die Zuschauenden der \u00dcbersetzung und der Handlung im St\u00fcck gut folgen k\u00f6nnen. Einzelne W\u00f6rter und S\u00e4tze werden au\u00dferdem von den anderen Spielerinnen selbst geb\u00e4rdet. Die Spielerinnen und die Dolmetscherin sind alle h\u00f6rend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Maybe djinns are this: Trruths that are always there, that are always in the room, whether you like it or not, but that you don't put into words in the hope that they will leave you alone.\u2019 Four siblings travel from Germany to Turkey for their father's funeral. They do not travel together, but set out on their respective journeys alone. They have been fundamentally different in this family for a long time, perhaps they always have been. At the very least, they have all taken a different direction in their lives, with different attitudes, desires and fears. During the course of their journeys, their pasts, their childhood and youth emerge and the path to their identities becomes visible.

\u2018Djinns\u2019 is about what it is like to lose one's father and the connection to one's origins. A group of young people from Stuttgart will take to the stage at JES and invite us into a space of remembrance, mourning and empowerment with \u2018Djinns\u2019. Their own post-migrant realities will become part of the production. For the second time, we are working together with Ye\u015fim Nela Keim Schaub (director of \u2018Warum das Kind in der Polenta kocht\u2019).

In the Happy Land, nothing is as it used to be: people are unhappy, they are sad, they are in a bad mood and only care about themselves. Is it because the bird of hope that gives everyone comfort and confidence with its song has disappeared? Jabu, the prince, sets off to find the bird despite his fears and doubts. Fortunately, he gets help from Alva, the lighthouse keeper's daughter, who at least knows how to steer a ship. Together, the two set off on their adventure - accompanied by an invigorating melody.

Together with musicians H\u00eaja Netirk and Carlos Rico, JES develops a light and sensual musical narrative about big questions: How do we want to live together? Do people lose their humanity when they no longer feel confident? Which melody gives you hope?

In the audio description<\/strong> the stage set, the costumes and the visible course of the action are described for people with visual impairments. The descriptions are spoken live during the performance and can be heard by the audience via transmitters with headphones.

For people with visual impairments, we regularly offer screenings with tactile guidance and audio description <\/strong>an.

The tactile tour<\/strong> takes place in the stage area approximately one hour before the performance begins. Here you can feel parts of the stage set, props and costume pieces. The actors introduce themselves and describe themselves. In addition, particularly visual scenes of the production are described.

Ein Schwarm, das ist eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Anzahl sich zusammen fortbewegender, gleichartiger Tiere. Manchmal auch durcheinanderwimmelnd, manchmal ungeordnet. Viele Fische bilden einen Schwarm. Sie sind eine Gemeinschaft, schwimmen zusammen und leben zusammen. Wir sind stark, weil wir viele sind. Aber wie gehe ich nicht unter im Gleichsein? Im Einssein? Die Versuche des gemeinsamen Seins werden in \u201eSchw\u00e4rmen\u201c immer wieder unterbrochen. Finden wir uns wieder oder bleibt jede*r f\u00fcr sich? Finden wir einen Weg, auch im st\u00e4ndigen Scheitern zusammenzubleiben und das Zusammensein zu feiern?
Es wird sich gek\u00fcmmert und gestritten, getanzt, versteckt und gesungen. Der Spielclub verhandelt, wie wir in Schw\u00e4rmen f\u00fcreinander da sind und als Gemeinschaft zusammen alt werden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jojo has been sentenced by juvenile court. The punishment: painting walls in an old age home. Jojo ends up in Leo's room in a bad mood, who doesn't utter a word \u2013 until it turns out that Jojo isn't actually guilty. Leo begins to talk about himself and admits that he is only keeping quiet so that the nurses will leave him alone. And it turns out: he used to be a boxing legend! Jojo tells Leo about friends who are not really friends at all and about the major insecurities regarding his future. Expectations begin to crumble on both sides and conversations about being excluded, about trust and the courage to take responsibility for one another develop. A friendship develops that challenges Leo and Jojo to jump over their shadows.

Sensory impressions such as bright light, loud noises or sudden events can be overstimulating or overwhelming for some people. That's why you'll find a list of sensory stimuli in \"Das Herz eines Boxers\" here. They may be good to be aware of for you or someone who is attending the performance with you.

- There is bright and colourful light, rapid light changes, weak light and complete darkness. There is a moment when several spotlights with red light change rapidly. This creates a flickering effect.

- Loud music is played. At one point, sombre electronic music is played.

- There is an oversized rocking chair on the stage on which the actors sit. Sometimes they rock back and forth or jump down.

- The actors show big emotions such as despair, anger and joy.

- At one point, an actor falls from a small stepladder onto the floor.

- At one point, an actor takes a sip of tea. The person spits the tea straight back out in a fountain.

- At one point, an actor suddenly hits a picture on a pillar. The middle of the picture falls down and lands on the floor with a loud crash.

- From the second half of the play onwards, an actor has a painted black eye.

- In one scene, a knife falls out of an actor's pocket. Later, the person holds it in their hand and looks at it for a long time.

- In one scene, an actor enters the stage in a full-body clown costume. The person is wearing a face mask. The face is unrecognisable for a few minutes.
