role=\"button\"><strong>Content<\/strong><\/h2><div id=\"ac-112310\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Do you dare do it? &#8211; Ang\u00e9lica, Lola, Maxi, Estelle, Stefan and Jule ask themselves. The six of them challenge themselves and each other on the JES stage: Maxi and Ang\u00e9lica test how far they can go. Estelle sings: \u201cMy life is too much of a risk, that&#8217;s why I&#8217;ll stay here like this forever\u201d &#8211; but is sure that there must be another way. Stefan tries to fly, Jule tries to let go and maybe Lola will talk about her scars.<br><br>All six of them face their challenges, desires and fears, try again and try differently and want to know: Where are boundaries, how can they be found, maintained, set or broken?<br><br>\u201cAus der Kurve fliegen\u201d encourages people to trust each other and celebrate life together despite, but also because of, its uncertainties. With booming bass music, elements of breakdance and contemporary dance, &#8220;Aus der Kurve fliegen&#8221; invites you to dive in, overcome your fears and unearth your longings.<br><br>JES director Grete Pagan was nominated for the <strong>FAUST 2023 theatre prize <\/strong>in the &#8220;Theatre for Young Audiences&#8221; category with her urban dance theatre piece &#8220;Aus der Kurve fliegen&#8221;.<br><br>&#8220;Aus der Kurve fliegen&#8221; takes place with German sign language on stage. The play is accessible for hearing and deaf children and families. (Deaf includes different identities and lived realities such as deaf, hard of hearing, Ci wearers and later-deaf).<br><br>This performance contains integrated interpreting into German sign language. &#8220;Integrated interpreting&#8221; means that the interpreter does not stand at the edge of the stage but is visible to on stage with the other actors. She translates a large part of the spoken and sung text by other actors. The interpreter also plays a role in the play. She stands on stage in a way that the audience can easily follow the translation and the plot of the play. Individual words and sentences are signed by the other actors. She has been a dance teacher at JES since 2022 and participated as a dancer in the dance theatre piece \u2018Aus der Kurve fliegen\u2019. She is also a member of the artists' association Produktionszentrum and is in contact with local and international artists. She has participated as a dancer in festivals such as Ethno Portugal (2018) and Ethno Germany (2019), as well as in the Social Festival of Tudanzas (Spain). She is currently part of the organising team of Ethno Germany. My responsibilities included the management of the \u201cEvent Technology\u201d department, technical management and event-technical supervision of performance operations in Studio Werkhaus as well as rehearsal operations at the Nationaltheater, as well as special events and guest performance tours and the production management in all four sections of the Nationaltheater.<br>I also took over the technical and spatial conception and supervision of the reconstruction and renovation of the rehearsal stage centre in Mannheim as well as the conception, planning and construction management for the reconstruction of the studio stage, including the complete stage, lighting, sound and building services of all foyers, dressing rooms, storage and prop\/mask rooms. Her work focuses on contemporary dance with an emphasis on improvisation and body awareness and on traditional Brazilian dances. Since 2017 she has been living in Stuttgart and getting to know new cultures. She has been a dance teacher at JES since 2022 and participated as a dancer in the dance theatre piece \u2018Aus der Kurve fliegen\u2019. She is also a member of the artists' association Produktionszentrum and is in contact with local and international artists. She has participated as a dancer in festivals such as Ethno Portugal (2018) and Ethno Germany (2019), as well as in the Social Festival of Tudanzas (Spain). She is currently part of the organising team of Ethno Germany. My parents are both Deaf, German sign language is my first language and I grew up in the Deaf community, which is why topics such as participation and inclusion are very close to my heart.
