and animals, small comedies and great tragedies: from the grey of a concrete cube, a lively, colourful city gradually unfolds with gardens and a library, building sites and blue lights, real and fantastic everyday heroes, a goalkeeper who writes, an autograph hunter, a mayor and an astonished fairy. In keeping with the hustle and bustle, there is a confusing mix of different languages in the air, Portuguese and German, both spoken and signed.<br><br>Everything somehow happens at the same time, is interwoven, wants to be discovered, processed and spun further until, in interaction with the others, a completely unique hidden object world is created. The play is accessible for hearing and deaf children and families. (Deaf includes different identities and lived realities such as deaf, hard of hearing, Ci wearers and later-deaf).<br><br>In &#8220;Unsere neue gro\u00dfe Welt&#8221;, a deaf* actor and two hearing actors are on stage. The deaf* actor speaks German sign language. The two hearing actors speak German and Portuguese. The hearing actors also sign individual words and parts of sentences. That&#8217;s why you&#8217;ll find a list of sensory stimuli in &#8220;Unsere neue gro\u00dfe Welt&#8221; here. They may be good to be aware of for you or someone who is attending the performance with you.<br><br>&#8211; There is soft, recorded music. At one point, music comes from a small music box on the stage.<br><br>&#8211; There are video recordings on stage.<br><br>&#8211; There is a large, grey cube on the stage. The actors unfold the cube and dismantle the walls. Each wall of the cube looks different.<br><br>&#8211; There are many large and small objects. For example, a rubbish bin, small figurines and a human-sized carrot. The objects are carried, pushed and placed on the stage by the actors. Some objects appear suddenly.<br><br>&#8211; The actors often disappear behind the cube and then reappear. They often have new costumes when they reappear.<br><br>&#8211; At the beginning of the play, the audience is asked to take off their shoes.<br><br>&#8211; At the end of the play, the audience is invited onto the stage. After my training, I began studying acting at the Zurich University of the Arts at the end of 2018. Her work focuses on contemporary dance with an emphasis on improvisation and body awareness and on traditional Brazilian dances. Since 2017 she has been living in Stuttgart and getting to know new cultures. She has been a dance teacher at JES since 2022 and participated as a dancer in the dance theatre piece \u2018Aus der Kurve fliegen\u2019. She is also a member of the artists' association Produktionszentrum and is in contact with local and international artists. She has participated as a dancer in festivals such as Ethno Portugal (2018) and Ethno Germany (2019), as well as in the Social Festival of Tudanzas (Spain). She is currently part of the organising team of Ethno Germany. My responsibilities included the management of the \u201cEvent Technology\u201d department, technical management and event-technical supervision of performance operations in Studio Werkhaus as well as rehearsal operations at the Nationaltheater, as well as special events and guest performance tours and the production management in all four sections of the Nationaltheater.<br>I also took over the technical and spatial conception and supervision of the reconstruction and renovation of the rehearsal stage centre in Mannheim as well as the conception, planning and construction management for the reconstruction of the studio stage, including the complete stage, lighting, sound and building services of all foyers, dressing rooms, storage and prop\/mask rooms. Her work focuses on contemporary dance with an emphasis on improvisation and body awareness and on traditional Brazilian dances. Since 2017 she has been living in Stuttgart and getting to know new cultures. She has been a dance teacher at JES since 2022 and participated as a dancer in the dance theatre piece \u2018Aus der Kurve fliegen\u2019. She is also a member of the artists' association Produktionszentrum and is in contact with local and international artists. She has participated as a dancer in festivals such as Ethno Portugal (2018) and Ethno Germany (2019), as well as in the Social Festival of Tudanzas (Spain). She is currently part of the organising team of Ethno Germany. Since 2010 I have also been working as a translator of theatre texts from English into German.
