How do you imagine your own death? Who can die the most dramatically on stage? <br>With the help of interviews, games and workshops, children aged 8 to 12 developed very personal answers and fantasies to these questions. The resulting material forms the basis of this dance performance by choreographer Tabea Martin.<br>Together with five professional dancers, Martins FOREVER creates a world of immortality where the children\u2019s fantasies bring ancient gods and creatures back to life. <br><br>With many litres of fake blood, buckets of tears and a washable stage surface, this contemporary dance performance is a visual, sensual, sensitive and humorous journey through the visual language of children. <br>FOREVER asks: How do children think about life and death, about dying and immortality? What fantasies do they have about life after death? That&#8217;s why you&#8217;ll find sensory stimuli here that appear in places in \u201eFOREVER\u201c.<br>They may be good to be aware of for you or someone who is attending the performance with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">There are balloons on the stage. Sometimes the balloons burst.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">Fog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">Fake blood.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">There are sudden changes of light and moving light. There are colourful lights and flashing lights. There is bright, dazzling light and dim light.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">The dancers on stage show strong emotions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">There are loud noises and loud music. Sometimes music plays in the background. There is a sudden noise that sounds like thunder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">The audience should be able to sit quietly throughout the performance in order to follow the piece well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-rebond-grotesque-medium-font-family has-medium-font-size\">Some spectators, seated in the first row are asked or invited to participate in some parts of the show. He developed his first theatre works as part of the directing workshop at Schauspielhaus Bochum and in the independent scene in Leipzig. From 2014 to 2018, he studied acting at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart and joined the acting studio at the Stuttgart State Theatre in the 2017\/18 season. He then became a member of the ensemble at JES Stuttgart.
