Kim de l’Horizon’s multi-award-winning debut novel is the starting point for this theatre piece. \u2018Blutbuch\u2019 is a collection of memories of things that seemed important to our ancestors, an honest struggle with a binary present and a tender dream of a place where everything could be different. This JES production invites you into a garden. The kind of garden we dream of: a place where we actually meet, where we can listen to each other honestly, argue relentlessly and rewrite stories.

The novel serves as a source of inspiration, a collection of texts and a centre for our own search about imprinting, anger, queerness and family.

I was born in Munich in 1995. I have always been interested in artistic creation and first graduated from a specialised secondary school for design before completing my training as an actress in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadja Rui wurde 1991 geboren, verkaufte 11 Jahre K\u00e4se auf dem Wochenmarkt in Bern und studierte Schauspiel an der Hochschule der K\u00fcnste Bern (HKB), an der sie 2017 mit dem Master in \u201eExpanded Theater\u201c abschloss. Sie erhielt den F\u00f6rderpreis der Armin Ziegler-Stiftung und den Studienpreis der Migros-Kulturstiftung. W\u00e4hrend ihrer Ausbildung gastierte sie am Theater Basel und bei den Z\u00fcrcher Festspielen, arbeitete weiter auf dem Wochenmarkt und betrieb, als Serviceangestellte, eine Feldstudie \u00fcber die zahlreichen Stammg\u00e4ste des \u201eCaf\u00e9 des Pyrenees\u201c. 2018 nahm sie an einem internationalen Praxisprojekt in Jordanien Teil (\u201eKunst, Konflikt und Kooperation\u201c, HKB), machte Konzertmoderation und begab sich kurz darauf in ihr erstes Festengagement am Jungen Theater Heidelberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seit August 2021 ist Nadja wieder freischaffend. Zu Ihren absoluten Herzens-Projekten geh\u00f6rt das Solo \u201eUnter Drachen\u201c (Regie: Patricjia Broni\u0107), eine St\u00fcckentwicklung zum Thema Tod und Trauer f\u00fcr alle ab 8 Jahren (nominiert f\u00fcr \u201eDer Faust\u201c 2023). Neben ihrer Leidenschaft, einem breiten Publikum heikle Themen zug\u00e4nglich zu machen, liebt sie es auf der B\u00fchne neuen Herausforderungen entgegen zu treten. 2024 hat sie in der St\u00fcckentwicklung \u201ePion, p\u00e8te pas les plombs\u201c (Regie: Clea Eden) auf franz\u00f6sisch gespielt, obwohl sie in der Schule alles andere als gute Noten darin geschrieben hatte. I was born on August 5th<\/sup>, 1998, in K\u00f6nigsfeld in the Black Forest and spent my childhood and youth there. After graduating from high school, I began a basic theatre education course at the \u2018Theater Tempus fugit\u2019 in L\u00f6rrach. During my training, I was in charge of various theatre groups, organised my own projects and performed a lot of forum theatre at schools. After my training, I began studying acting at the Zurich University of the Arts at the end of 2018. I attended courses on various acting techniques, gained a lot of experience in collective work and performance and completed my studies in the summer of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent the 2021\/22 season in Chemnitz, where I appeared in several productions at the municipal theatre as a member of the acting studio. I worked there with Matthias Huber and Nicolas Charaux, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich wurde 1996 geboren und verbrachte meine Kindheit und Jugend im S\u00fcden Spaniens und im Ruhrgebiet. W\u00e4hrend der Schulzeit widmete ich mich der bildenden Kunst und hatte unter anderem preisgekr\u00f6nte Ausstellungen in Tampere, Finnland und im Ruhrgebiet. Nach dem Abitur wechselte ich die Richtung und studierte zun\u00e4chst Physik, Philosophie, Kunstgeschichte und dann Tanz. Letzteres war ma\u00dfgeblich f\u00fcr meinen Weg auf die B\u00fchne - nach einer Einladung zum \"Tanztreffen der Jugend\" in Berlin, Training im Zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Tanz und Voguing, inszenieren einer Eigenproduktion am Schauspielhaus Bochum und \"Die Zofen\" von Jean Genet beim zfz-Kollektiv, landete ich schlussendlich in Bochum am PRT und durfte dort \"Caligula\" (Regie: Clara Nielebock) geben, der zum \"Theatertreffen der Jugend\" in Berlin eingeladen wurde. Nach der Produktion war es um mich geschehen und ich wechselte zu Schauspiel.
Von 2019 bis 2023 absolvierte ich mein Schauspielstudium an der Theaterakademie August Everding.
Seitdem arbeite ich als Gast an diversen Theatern, zuletzt seit der Spielzeit 23\/24 und fortlaufend am Staatstheater Augsburg mit dem queeren Punkrock-Musical \"Hedwig and the Angry Inch\" (Regie: Cornelia Maschner) bei dem ich neben der Rolle des Tommy Gnosis auch die Choreografien entwickelte.
Nebenbei zeichne ich weiterhin Portraits, arbeite als Model und als Dragqueen Maeve Pav\u00f3n mit ihrer eigenen Show \"A Very Maevian Grief\" - die vor allem f\u00fcr Sichtbarkeit und Rechte von queeren, behinderten Menschen k\u00e4mpft.

JES has been a part of my life since I was eight years old. As a child and teenager, I participated in numerous play clubs and was part of the productions \u201cR.E.S.P.E.C.T.\u201d from 2017 to 2019 and \u201cIdentity\u201d from 2019 to 2020.
In autumn 2021, I did my first assistant directing at JES for the production \u201cArchive der K\u00f6rper\u201d and have been permanently engaged as an assistant director since the 2022\/23 season, starting with the production \u201cHier ist noch alles m\u00f6glich\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After studying stage design at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Bildende K\u00fcnste in Hamburg, Philipp Nicolai worked as an assistant stage designer at Schauspielhaus Hannover from 2004 to 2006. From 2007 to 2009 he was employed there as a permanent set designer, during which time he worked with Ruedi H\u00e4usermann, Marco \u0160torman, Marc Pr\u00e4tsch, Peter Kastenm\u00fcller and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burkhard K\u00f6rner studierte Kultur- und Theaterwissenschaften,\u00a0Elementare Musik- und Tanzp\u00e4dagogik\u00a0und\u00a0Choreografie\u00a0in Leipzig, Salzburg und Amsterdam. Er arbeitet als Choreograf, Theatermacher, Dramaturg, Dozent, T\u00e4nzer, Performer und S\u00e4nger.
Seine j\u00fcngste Praxis konzentriert sich auf die Initiierung k\u00fcnstlerischer Prozesse mit verschiedenen Gemeinschaften und K\u00fcnstler*innen in (Ost-)Deutschland, Russland und den Niederlanden. Burkhard ist fasziniert davon, R\u00e4ume zu schaffen, in denen Menschen sich mit ihren Anliegen verbinden und dadurch ihrer Kreativit\u00e4t folgen k\u00f6nnen. Nicht sichtbare oder vernachl\u00e4ssigte gesellschaftliche Themen motivieren ihn, Umgebungen und Performances zu schaffen, die zu einem gemeinsamen Diskurs einladen.
Zusammen mit Rika Weniger und Noah Voelker entwickelte er 2019 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Sachsen das Oral-History-Projekt \"Laden der un-erh\u00f6rten GeschichteN\"<\/a> (https:\/\/un-erhoert.jimdofree.com\/laden<\/a>) welches 2021 in einen Theaterabend \u00fcber die ostdeutsche Identit\u00e4t mit dem Titel \"Wie macht man gute Kunst f\u00fcr Ostdeutsche?\"<\/a> (https:\/\/un-erhoert.jimdofree.com\/<\/a>) m\u00fcndete.
Ferner arbeitet er als Dramaturg und k\u00fcnstlerischer Berater u.a. f\u00fcr Andrea Voets, Marina Orlova, Jija Sohn und Rika Weniger.
F\u00fcr \u201cBlutbuch\u201d arbeitet er zum ersten Mal als Dramaturg mit Lee M\u00fclders und dem JES zusammen.

After my first permanent job at JES, I was drawn to the independent scene and to the stage again and again as a performer. My projects intersect at the interface between performative experiments, especially for young audiences, and mediation work between theatre and real life. These projects have taken me to Gessnerallee Zurich, Kampnagel in Hamburg, Schlachthaustheater Bern, Schauspielhaus Hamburg and Junges Theater Konstanz, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AUSBILDUNG<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich wurde 1995 in Gie\u00dfen geboren. Nach einem FSJ-Kultur am tjg. theater junge generation Dresden studierte ich Theater- und Kulturwissenschaften an der Universit\u00e4t Leipzig und anschlie\u00dfend Kulturvermittlung an der Universit\u00e4t Hildesheim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AN ANDEREN ORTEN<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend meines Studiums war ich als Regieassistentin und freie Kunst- und Theatervermittlerin in unterschiedlichen Projekten und Kultureinrichtungen t\u00e4tig- u.a. am Schauspiel Leipzig, bei FLIPPO, die Kinderzeitung der GfZK Leipzig, an den Cammerspielen Leipzig sowie am Schauspiel Hannover. Nebenbei arbeitete ich als politische Bildnerin f\u00fcr ein Schulaufkl\u00e4rungs- und Antidiskriminierungsprojekt. Dabei gab ich Workshops zu geschlechtlicher und sexueller Vielfalt f\u00fcr Schulklassen unterschiedlicher Jahrgangsstufen.
Meine Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen auf der Verbindung zwischen Kultureller und Politischer Bildung und der performativ-experimentellen Theaterarbeit mit jungen Personen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ab der Spielzeit 2024\/25 arbeite ich fest als Theaterp\u00e4dagogin am JES und leite u.a. den Spielclub \u201eDas Labor der \u00c4ngste\u201c und das Ferienprojekt \u201eQueer*Town.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martha Luise Schmalz (she\/her) is studying Cultural Studies and Business Administration at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In addition to her studies, Martha has already worked as an assistant director and production assistant in Hamburg, Berlin and Stuttgart. In 2021\/22 she supported the organisation of the International Children's and Youth Theatre Festival BRIGHT VIEW at Junges Ensemble Stuttgart. After that I worked first as a stage technician at Nationaltheater Mannheim, then as a self-employed event technician and finally as deputy head of the studio technology department at the Nationaltheater (as an employee of the technical directorate from 2001 to 2007). My responsibilities included the management of the \u201cEvent Technology\u201d department, technical management and event-technical supervision of performance operations in Studio Werkhaus as well as rehearsal operations at the Nationaltheater, as well as special events and guest performance tours and the production management in all four sections of the Nationaltheater.
I also took over the technical and spatial conception and supervision of the reconstruction and renovation of the rehearsal stage centre in Mannheim as well as the conception, planning and construction management for the reconstruction of the studio stage, including the complete stage, lighting, sound and building services of all foyers, dressing rooms, storage and prop\/mask rooms. During my time at Nationaltheater Mannheim, I completed various further training courses: Master of Event Technology specialised in stage\/studio as well as lighting, as an electrician for event technology and business economics of the trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2007 onwards I worked as a self-employed event technician, among others at the Schwetzingen Festival, at Moers Schlosstheater and at the Bayreuth Festival in 2008, 2009 and 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 1997 to 2002 I worked as a stage design assistant at theatres in Cologne City, Staatstheater and Thalia Theater Hamburg, where I was able to work with directors such as Michael Thalheimer, Stephan Kimmig and Leander Haussmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Hamburg I met the director Jorinde Dr\u00f6se, with whom I created numerous productions as a stage and costume designer from 2002 onwards at theatres such as Schauspiel Bochum, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schauspiel Leipzig and Volkstheater M\u00fcnchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have also created many stage and costume designs with the directors Sabine Harbeke, Klaus Hemmerle, Alexander Schilling and H\u00fcseyin Michael Circipi at the Heilbronn Theatre, Landestheater Innsbruck and Theater Ingolstadt, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been drawn to the theatre since I was a child. My first internship in 2008\/2009 was at JES in the set design department. Since then, I have worked there on and off as a temp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Staatstheater Stuttgart, I worked as a costume and set designer for Christian Tschirner and Corinna Harfouch, among others. I also worked there as a production assistant on the international theatre project \u2018Orient Express\u2019. At the Ludwigsburg Film Academy, I was able to immerse myself as a set designer in the world of film. I also worked in the costume department at Altes Schauspielhaus and the Palladium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My additional expertise includes training as a carpenter, a year studying expressive dance and training as a textile designer in the craft of weaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born in Munich in 1995. I have always been interested in artistic creation and first graduated from a specialised secondary school for design before completing my training as an actress in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After my first permanent job at JES, I was drawn to the independent scene and to the stage again and again as a performer. My projects intersect at the interface between performative experiments, especially for young audiences, and mediation work between theatre and real life. These projects have taken me to Gessnerallee Zurich, Kampnagel in Hamburg, Schlachthaustheater Bern, Schauspielhaus Hamburg and Junges Theater Konstanz, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich wurde 1995 in Gie\u00dfen geboren. Nach einem FSJ-Kultur am tjg. theater junge generation Dresden studierte ich Theater- und Kulturwissenschaften an der Universit\u00e4t Leipzig und anschlie\u00dfend Kulturvermittlung an der Universit\u00e4t Hildesheim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AN ANDEREN ORTEN<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend meines Studiums war ich als Regieassistentin und freie Kunst- und Theatervermittlerin in unterschiedlichen Projekten und Kultureinrichtungen t\u00e4tig- u.a. am Schauspiel Leipzig, bei FLIPPO, die Kinderzeitung der GfZK Leipzig, an den Cammerspielen Leipzig sowie am Schauspiel Hannover. Nebenbei arbeitete ich als politische Bildnerin f\u00fcr ein Schulaufkl\u00e4rungs- und Antidiskriminierungsprojekt. Dabei gab ich Workshops zu geschlechtlicher und sexueller Vielfalt f\u00fcr Schulklassen unterschiedlicher Jahrgangsstufen.
Meine Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen auf der Verbindung zwischen Kultureller und Politischer Bildung und der performativ-experimentellen Theaterarbeit mit jungen Personen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ab der Spielzeit 2024\/25 arbeite ich fest als Theaterp\u00e4dagogin am JES und leite u.a. den Spielclub \u201eDas Labor der \u00c4ngste\u201c und das Ferienprojekt \u201eQueer*Town.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadja Rui wurde 1991 geboren, verkaufte 11 Jahre K\u00e4se auf dem Wochenmarkt in Bern und studierte Schauspiel an der Hochschule der K\u00fcnste Bern (HKB), an der sie 2017 mit dem Master in \u201eExpanded Theater\u201c abschloss. Sie erhielt den F\u00f6rderpreis der Armin Ziegler-Stiftung und den Studienpreis der Migros-Kulturstiftung. W\u00e4hrend ihrer Ausbildung gastierte sie am Theater Basel und bei den Z\u00fcrcher Festspielen, arbeitete weiter auf dem Wochenmarkt und betrieb, als Serviceangestellte, eine Feldstudie \u00fcber die zahlreichen Stammg\u00e4ste des \u201eCaf\u00e9 des Pyrenees\u201c. 2018 nahm sie an einem internationalen Praxisprojekt in Jordanien Teil (\u201eKunst, Konflikt und Kooperation\u201c, HKB), machte Konzertmoderation und begab sich kurz darauf in ihr erstes Festengagement am Jungen Theater Heidelberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seit August 2021 ist Nadja wieder freischaffend. Zu Ihren absoluten Herzens-Projekten geh\u00f6rt das Solo \u201eUnter Drachen\u201c (Regie: Patricjia Broni\u0107), eine St\u00fcckentwicklung zum Thema Tod und Trauer f\u00fcr alle ab 8 Jahren (nominiert f\u00fcr \u201eDer Faust\u201c 2023). Neben ihrer Leidenschaft, einem breiten Publikum heikle Themen zug\u00e4nglich zu machen, liebt sie es auf der B\u00fchne neuen Herausforderungen entgegen zu treten. 2024 hat sie in der St\u00fcckentwicklung \u201ePion, p\u00e8te pas les plombs\u201c (Regie: Clea Eden) auf franz\u00f6sisch gespielt, obwohl sie in der Schule alles andere als gute Noten darin geschrieben hatte. Ich wurde 1996 geboren und verbrachte meine Kindheit und Jugend im S\u00fcden Spaniens und im Ruhrgebiet. W\u00e4hrend der Schulzeit widmete ich mich der bildenden Kunst und hatte unter anderem preisgekr\u00f6nte Ausstellungen in Tampere, Finnland und im Ruhrgebiet. Nach dem Abitur wechselte ich die Richtung und studierte zun\u00e4chst Physik, Philosophie, Kunstgeschichte und dann Tanz. Letzteres war ma\u00dfgeblich f\u00fcr meinen Weg auf die B\u00fchne - nach einer Einladung zum \"Tanztreffen der Jugend\" in Berlin, Training im Zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Tanz und Voguing, inszenieren einer Eigenproduktion am Schauspielhaus Bochum und \"Die Zofen\" von Jean Genet beim zfz-Kollektiv, landete ich schlussendlich in Bochum am PRT und durfte dort \"Caligula\" (Regie: Clara Nielebock) geben, der zum \"Theatertreffen der Jugend\" in Berlin eingeladen wurde. Nach der Produktion war es um mich geschehen und ich wechselte zu Schauspiel.
Von 2019 bis 2023 absolvierte ich mein Schauspielstudium an der Theaterakademie August Everding.
Seitdem arbeite ich als Gast an diversen Theatern, zuletzt seit der Spielzeit 23\/24 und fortlaufend am Staatstheater Augsburg mit dem queeren Punkrock-Musical \"Hedwig and the Angry Inch\" (Regie: Cornelia Maschner) bei dem ich neben der Rolle des Tommy Gnosis auch die Choreografien entwickelte.
Nebenbei zeichne ich weiterhin Portraits, arbeite als Model und als Dragqueen Maeve Pav\u00f3n mit ihrer eigenen Show \"A Very Maevian Grief\" - die vor allem f\u00fcr Sichtbarkeit und Rechte von queeren, behinderten Menschen k\u00e4mpft.

Mit \"Blutbuch\" gastiert Luca das erste Mal am Jungen Ensemble Stuttgart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burkhard K\u00f6rner studierte Kultur- und Theaterwissenschaften,\u00a0Elementare Musik- und Tanzp\u00e4dagogik\u00a0und\u00a0Choreografie\u00a0in Leipzig, Salzburg und Amsterdam. Er arbeitet als Choreograf, Theatermacher, Dramaturg, Dozent, T\u00e4nzer, Performer und S\u00e4nger.
Seine j\u00fcngste Praxis konzentriert sich auf die Initiierung k\u00fcnstlerischer Prozesse mit verschiedenen Gemeinschaften und K\u00fcnstler*innen in (Ost-)Deutschland, Russland und den Niederlanden. Burkhard ist fasziniert davon, R\u00e4ume zu schaffen, in denen Menschen sich mit ihren Anliegen verbinden und dadurch ihrer Kreativit\u00e4t folgen k\u00f6nnen. Nicht sichtbare oder vernachl\u00e4ssigte gesellschaftliche Themen motivieren ihn, Umgebungen und Performances zu schaffen, die zu einem gemeinsamen Diskurs einladen.
Zusammen mit Rika Weniger und Noah Voelker entwickelte er 2019 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Sachsen das Oral-History-Projekt \"Laden der un-erh\u00f6rten GeschichteN\"<\/a> (https:\/\/un-erhoert.jimdofree.com\/laden<\/a>) welches 2021 in einen Theaterabend \u00fcber die ostdeutsche Identit\u00e4t mit dem Titel \"Wie macht man gute Kunst f\u00fcr Ostdeutsche?\"<\/a> (https:\/\/un-erhoert.jimdofree.com\/<\/a>) m\u00fcndete.
Ferner arbeitet er als Dramaturg und k\u00fcnstlerischer Berater u.a. f\u00fcr Andrea Voets, Marina Orlova, Jija Sohn und Rika Weniger.
F\u00fcr \u201cBlutbuch\u201d arbeitet er zum ersten Mal als Dramaturg mit Lee M\u00fclders und dem JES zusammen.
