It starts with a construction plan and a kit of 1,000 pieces. Instructions to build a machine, perhaps? Which is piece is the first? Which is the best connecting piece? What do we do if the most important piece is missing? And how does it end?\u00a0A performer forms a partnership with the children in the audience. Together, they try to decipher the blueprint and set things in motion. All the while they ask themselves: Who can contribute what knowledge, who can come up with a solution, and how do we cope when everything collapses? A play with little dialogue about self-efficacy, dealing with failure, and the question of whether and how everything could be completely different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born in 1966. Before I completed my training as an actor at the Spielstatt Ulm (1989 to 1993), I gained my first theatre experience at the theatre in the Altstadthof in my hometown of Nuremberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born on August 5th<\/sup>, 1998, in K\u00f6nigsfeld in the Black Forest and spent my childhood and youth there. After graduating from high school, I began a basic theatre education course at the \u2018Theater Tempus fugit\u2019 in L\u00f6rrach. During my training, I was in charge of various theatre groups, organised my own projects and performed a lot of forum theatre at schools. After my training, I began studying acting at the Zurich University of the Arts at the end of 2018. I attended courses on various acting techniques, gained a lot of experience in collective work and performance and completed my studies in the summer of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent the 2021\/22 season in Chemnitz, where I appeared in several productions at the municipal theatre as a member of the acting studio. I worked there with Matthias Huber and Nicolas Charaux, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AUSBILDUNG
Ich wurde 1996 im Ruhrgebiet geboren und habe erste Theatererfahrungen am Jungen Schlosstheater Moers gesammelt. Nach meinem Studium in \u201eAngewandte Theaterwissenschaft\u201c in Gie\u00dfen habe ich \u201ePhysical Theatre\u201c in Essen studiert. W\u00e4hrend meiner Studienzeit habe ich au\u00dferdem zwei Auslandssemester in Tschechien und in Norwegen gemacht.

AN ANDEREN ORTEN
Ich habe am Schauspiel Essen, am Schauspiel Dortmund und am D\u00fcsseldorfer Schauspielhaus als Gast-Schauspieler*in gearbeitet. Zudem habe ich in verschiedenen St\u00fccken in der freien Szene mitgespielt oder Regie gef\u00fchrt. Diese wurden zum Beispiel im Tanzhaus nrw, im Maschinenhaus Essen, beim internationalen SoloDuoFestival K\u00f6ln, beim ZeitZeug Festival Bochum oder beim Hundertpro Festival in M\u00fchlheim gezeigt.
Zusammen mit Meret K\u00f6nig und Valentin Schwerdfeger bin ich Teil der Physical Theatre Company \u201eSticky Fragments\u201c. Wir interessieren uns besonders f\u00fcr die Arbeit zwischen verschiedenen Kunstformen, queer-feministische Themen und \u201eAesthetics of Access\u201c.

After my first permanent job at JES, I was drawn to the independent scene and to the stage again and again as a performer. My projects intersect at the interface between performative experiments, especially for young audiences, and mediation work between theatre and real life. These projects have taken me to Gessnerallee Zurich, Kampnagel in Hamburg, Schlachthaustheater Bern, Schauspielhaus Hamburg and Junges Theater Konstanz, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria Trautmann (*1990) ist freischaffende Musikerin, Performerin und Regisseurin. Sie studierte Jazzposaune (BA Performing Artist) an der Folkwang Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste bei Prof. Ansgar Striepens sowie Artistic Research (MA Theatre) an der Toneelacademie Maastricht; Schwerpunkt ihrer k\u00fcnstlerischen Recherche: die freie Improvisation. Sie arbeitete u. a. am Schauspielhaus Bochum und am Theater an der Ruhr und kollaboriert in j\u00fcngerer Zeit vermehrt mit Subbotnik (K\u00f6ln). AUSBILDUNG
Von 2016 \u2013 2023 habe ich an der Universit\u00e4t Hildesheim erst Szenische K\u00fcnste (BA) und im Anschluss Inszenierung der K\u00fcnste und Medien (MA) studiert. Dort habe ich in Theorie und Praxis an Empowermentstrategien im Theater f\u00fcr junges Publikum, experimenteller Theatervermittlung und den Potentialen (auto-)biografischer Theaterarbeit geforscht.

AN ANDEREN ORTEN
W\u00e4hrend des Studiums arbeitete ich frei als Theatervermittlerin und Dramaturgin, u.a. am Mousonturm Frankfurt, dem LOFFT Braunschweig und dem Landestheater Eisenach. Ich produzierte in verschiedenen Konstellationen Theater f\u00fcr junges Publikum installativ und f\u00fcr die B\u00fchne, zuletzt am Theaterhaus Hildesheim mit meinem Performancekollektiv Mate Ebene. 2022 wurde ich als Fellow vom \u201eForschungsnetzwerk f\u00fcr Kinder- und Jugendtheater\u201c gef\u00f6rdert.
Von 2023 \u2013 2025 war ich fest als Dramaturgin am neuen theater und Thalia Theater Halle. Dort arbeitete ich u.a. mit Max Radestock, Jette B\u00fcshel, Julia Brettschneider, Tim Tonndorf, Alice Buddeberg und Gordon K\u00e4mmerer.
Seit 2025 bin ich Vorstandsmitglied der ASSITEJ e.V. und engagiere mich ehrenamtlich f\u00fcr Darstellende K\u00fcnste & junges Publikum.

Seit der Spielzeit 2025\/26 arbeite ich fest als Dramaturgin am JES. Vorher war ich 2021 schon einmal Teil des Next-Generation-Programms der SCH\u00d6NEN AUSSICHT.\u00a0

Lina H\u00f6hne is a dance mediator and choreographer specialising in dance for young audiences. She studied contemporary dance education, movement studies and performance studies in Vienna, Jerusalem and Hamburg. She brings her expertise to numerous formats, both in excluded social spaces and in professional and university settings. She also conducts research at the interface of social realities and dance. She understands dance as an activist and socially critical practice, which is subject to the constant updating and questioning of contemporary body images and her own work. Over the years of her work in an international, intercultural, socially critical and cross-generational context, she has acquired an artistic language and methodology that focuses on its intended audience and is therefore able to respond sensitively to diverse people and their backgrounds in order to reach them through the medium of contemporary dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 22\/23 season, I completed my FSJ in theatre education at JES. I was part of the clubs \u2018Die Philosoph*innen\u2019 and \u2018Queer*town\u2019, sat in on the production \u2018Warum das Kind in der Polenta kocht\u2019 and organised the open space format EINMISCHEN with other FSJ volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From autumn 2023, I will be working at JES as a guest assistant and guest intern on various productions, starting with the solo \u2018All das Sch\u00f6ne\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that I worked first as a stage technician at Nationaltheater Mannheim, then as a self-employed event technician and finally as deputy head of the studio technology department at the Nationaltheater (as an employee of the technical directorate from 2001 to 2007). My responsibilities included the management of the \u201cEvent Technology\u201d department, technical management and event-technical supervision of performance operations in Studio Werkhaus as well as rehearsal operations at the Nationaltheater, as well as special events and guest performance tours and the production management in all four sections of the Nationaltheater.
I also took over the technical and spatial conception and supervision of the reconstruction and renovation of the rehearsal stage centre in Mannheim as well as the conception, planning and construction management for the reconstruction of the studio stage, including the complete stage, lighting, sound and building services of all foyers, dressing rooms, storage and prop\/mask rooms. During my time at Nationaltheater Mannheim, I completed various further training courses: Master of Event Technology specialised in stage\/studio as well as lighting, as an electrician for event technology and business economics of the trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2007 onwards I worked as a self-employed event technician, among others at the Schwetzingen Festival, at Moers Schlosstheater and at the Bayreuth Festival in 2008, 2009 and 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AUSBILDUNG
Meine schulische Laufbahn schloss ich mit der Mittleren Reife an der Liebfrauenschule Sigmaringen ab. Danach habe ich zun\u00e4chst eine Ausbildung zum Koch absolviert und anschlie\u00dfend an der Willi-Burth-Schule in Bad Saulgau die Qualifikation zum Foto- und Medientechniker erworben. Zuletzt habe ich meine Fachkenntnisse mit einer Ausbildung in Veranstaltungstechnik an der ADK (Akademie f\u00fcr darstellende Kunst Ludwigsburg) fundiert und damit einen direkten Schwerpunkt f\u00fcr die Arbeit im Theater- und Kulturbereich gesetzt.

AN ANDEREN ORTEN
Als Gr\u00fcnder und Chef meiner eigenen UG, der hlybmbs UG (haftungsbeschr\u00e4nkt), verwalte ich das Kollektiv HolyBombs, das sich auf das Management und die technische Durchf\u00fchrung von Live-Veranstaltungen konzentriert und einen Ger\u00e4teverleih betreibt. Diese unternehmerische T\u00e4tigkeit hat meine Kompetenzen als Event Techniker in der Praxis gesch\u00e4rft, insbesondere in der technischen Planung und Logistik. Meine Ausbildung in der Gastronomie hat mich zudem in puncto Effizienz und Belastbarkeit geschult. Au\u00dferdem bin ich viel ehrenamtlich t\u00e4tig und helfe gerne, wo ich kann!

JES! UND ICH
Als Veranstaltungstechniker beim Jungen Ensemble Stuttgart verbinde ich meine fundierte Ausbildung in der Veranstaltungstechnik mit meinem Know-how als Foto & Mediendesigner. Das Theater fasziniert mich als Ort, der Technik, Gestaltung und Live-Performance vereint. Ich freue mich darauf, mein technisches Verst\u00e4ndnis, meine Erfahrung im Event-Management und meine gestalterischen F\u00e4higkeiten direkt in die Produktionen des JES einzubringen und die k\u00fcnstlerischen Visionen optimal umzusetzen.

I studied set and costume design at Central St Martin\u02bcs College of Art and Design in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 1997 to 2002 I worked as a stage design assistant at theatres in Cologne City, Staatstheater and Thalia Theater Hamburg, where I was able to work with directors such as Michael Thalheimer, Stephan Kimmig and Leander Haussmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Hamburg I met the director Jorinde Dr\u00f6se, with whom I created numerous productions as a stage and costume designer from 2002 onwards at theatres such as Schauspiel Bochum, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schauspiel Leipzig and Volkstheater M\u00fcnchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have also created many stage and costume designs with the directors Sabine Harbeke, Klaus Hemmerle, Alexander Schilling and H\u00fcseyin Michael Circipi at the Heilbronn Theatre, Landestheater Innsbruck and Theater Ingolstadt, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I joined JES in 2018 as head of set design, much to the delight of my sons, with whom I live here in Stuttgart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I came to Stuttgart to study interior design at FHT and stayed here - but not as an interior designer! Pretty soon I was happily letting myself fall into the waters of the theatre seas...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the waters of the Staatstheater Stuttgart, the current has also repeatedly driven me further north, e.g. to Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started at JES as a temporary set sailor, but after immersing myself in other film and theatre worlds, I have always enjoyed sailing back to JES and have been a permanent member of the colourful set team since 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been drawn to the theatre since I was a child. My first internship in 2008\/2009 was at JES in the set design department. Since then, I have worked there on and off as a temp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Staatstheater Stuttgart, I worked as a costume and set designer for Christian Tschirner and Corinna Harfouch, among others. I also worked there as a production assistant on the international theatre project \u2018Orient Express\u2019. At the Ludwigsburg Film Academy, I was able to immerse myself as a set designer in the world of film. I also worked in the costume department at Altes Schauspielhaus and the Palladium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My additional expertise includes training as a carpenter, a year studying expressive dance and training as a textile designer in the craft of weaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been supporting the JES equipment team as a member of staff since the 2021\/2022 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AUSBILDUNG
Von 2016 \u2013 2023 habe ich an der Universit\u00e4t Hildesheim erst Szenische K\u00fcnste (BA) und im Anschluss Inszenierung der K\u00fcnste und Medien (MA) studiert. Dort habe ich in Theorie und Praxis an Empowermentstrategien im Theater f\u00fcr junges Publikum, experimenteller Theatervermittlung und den Potentialen (auto-)biografischer Theaterarbeit geforscht.

AN ANDEREN ORTEN
W\u00e4hrend des Studiums arbeitete ich frei als Theatervermittlerin und Dramaturgin, u.a. am Mousonturm Frankfurt, dem LOFFT Braunschweig und dem Landestheater Eisenach. Ich produzierte in verschiedenen Konstellationen Theater f\u00fcr junges Publikum installativ und f\u00fcr die B\u00fchne, zuletzt am Theaterhaus Hildesheim mit meinem Performancekollektiv Mate Ebene. 2022 wurde ich als Fellow vom \u201eForschungsnetzwerk f\u00fcr Kinder- und Jugendtheater\u201c gef\u00f6rdert.
Von 2023 \u2013 2025 war ich fest als Dramaturgin am neuen theater und Thalia Theater Halle. Dort arbeitete ich u.a. mit Max Radestock, Jette B\u00fcshel, Julia Brettschneider, Tim Tonndorf, Alice Buddeberg und Gordon K\u00e4mmerer.
Seit 2025 bin ich Vorstandsmitglied der ASSITEJ e.V. und engagiere mich ehrenamtlich f\u00fcr Darstellende K\u00fcnste & junges Publikum.

Seit der Spielzeit 2025\/26 arbeite ich fest als Dramaturgin am JES. Vorher war ich 2021 schon einmal Teil des Next-Generation-Programms der SCH\u00d6NEN AUSSICHT.\u00a0

Maria Trautmann (*1990) ist freischaffende Musikerin, Performerin und Regisseurin. Sie studierte Jazzposaune (BA Performing Artist) an der Folkwang Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste bei Prof. Ansgar Striepens sowie Artistic Research (MA Theatre) an der Toneelacademie Maastricht; Schwerpunkt ihrer k\u00fcnstlerischen Recherche: die freie Improvisation. Sie arbeitete u. a. am Schauspielhaus Bochum und am Theater an der Ruhr und kollaboriert in j\u00fcngerer Zeit vermehrt mit Subbotnik (K\u00f6ln). Sie arbeitet gerne im Kollektiv und ist Teil der Jungen B\u00fchne Bochum, des Quartetts hilde, der Gro\u00dfformation The Dorf und der Band Wir hatten was mit Bj\u00f6rn. Au\u00dferdem adaptierte sie mehrere Romane f\u00fcr die B\u00fchne in eigenen Fassungen, u. a. Der Wendepunkt (Klaus Mann), Momo (Michael Ende), Sch\u00f6ne neue Welt (Aldous Huxley) und Cabaret (Isherwood).\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
