Two actors have founded a state to defy a monstrous danger and invite children to become its first citizens.<br><br>Together they dive into an adventure of intergalactic proportions, playfully testing social coexistence and determining who decides, and thus take on the small issue of saving the world.<br><br>Playfully and embedded in an exciting story, the children experience the encouraging feeling that they are a serious part of society.That it is worthwhile to raise one&#8217;s own voice &#8211; and to fight for this fundamental right.<br><br>This play can also be booked on-site for classrooms. The performance venue is the school gymnasium. That&#8217;s why you&#8217;ll find a list of sensory stimuli in &#8220;Die Bademattenrepublik&#8221; here. They may be good to be aware of for you or someone who is attending the performance with you.<br><br>&#8211; The performance contains loud music and pulsating, technical noises, some of which occur suddenly.<br><br>&#8211; Distorted voices are played as sound recordings.<br><br>&#8211; There is a flashing signal light that briefly generates loud noises.<br><br>&#8211; The audience is on stage with the actors and is actively involved in the play. The audience is asked to change their position in the room and take on small roles and tasks. The audience is asked to answer questions.<br><br>&#8211; At one point in the play, some audience members are asked to make loud noises with objects.<br><br>&#8211; At one point in the play, the audience is asked to shout something out loud. It gets very loud in the room for about a minute.<br><br>&#8211; The audience sits on bath mats on the floor. Sometimes the audience is asked to stand.<br><br>&#8211; The actors move quickly around the room and walk through the audience. Sometimes they stand elevated on a windowsill or a platform.<br><br>&#8211; The actors show big emotions. For example, they are excited, desperate or happy. My responsibilities included the management of the \u201cEvent Technology\u201d department, technical management and event-technical supervision of performance operations in Studio Werkhaus as well as rehearsal operations at the Nationaltheater, as well as special events and guest performance tours and the production management in all four sections of the Nationaltheater.<br>I also took over the technical and spatial conception and supervision of the reconstruction and renovation of the rehearsal stage centre in Mannheim as well as the conception, planning and construction management for the reconstruction of the studio stage, including the complete stage, lighting, sound and building services of all foyers, dressing rooms, storage and prop\/mask rooms. My first internship in 2008\/2009 was at JES in the set design department. At the Ludwigsburg Film Academy, I was able to immerse myself as a set designer in the world of film. Her work has been shown in theatres in Germany, France and Switzerland. She lives and works in Berlin. During her studies of fine arts, art and educational sciences at HdK Berlin, she worked as an assistant set designer for several theatre productions, including at Deutsches Theater Berlin and Schauspielhaus Hamburg. She then began her 3-year stage and costume design assistantship at Schaub\u00fchne Berlin in 1999. Since then, she has worked as a stage and costume designer on productions for various theatres for contemporary and classical plays. She has collaborated with director Gian Manuel Rau and his Compagnie Camastral for many years for productions at Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Vidy Lausanne, Com\u00e9die Fran\u00e7aise Paris and Com\u00e9die de Gen\u00e8ve, among others. Since 2017, she has been working with director Grete Pagan on plays for children and young people, including at Junges National Theater Mannheim, W\u00fcrttembergische Landesb\u00fchne Esslingen and Schauburg Munich.
