BRIGHT SIGNS

A group of Deaf and hearing-impaired young people between the ages of 13 and 20 will accompany the festival this year. Since December 2025, they have been meeting regularly and advising the festival team on the programme for people from the Deaf community: Which performances can we offer in German Sign Language? Where and how can Deaf*, hearing-impaired and hearing people meet and communicate? What do you need to feel comfortable at the festival? And what would your perfect festival look like? BRIGHT SIGNS invites people to get to know each other and exchange ideas, lowering barriers for people in the Deaf community.
