Then come to the Dance Lab!



Every Wednesday, the Dance Lab, a dance class, takes place at JES. It’s a place to meet up, move around, express yourself, and be part of something. Come alone or with friends—everyone is welcome. Dance Lab is free, and you don’t need any skills or equipment—just a desire to dance!

Every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at JES!

Would you like to dance on stage with others?
Are you between 14 and 23 years old?
Are you BIPOC, do you have a migration background, or are you really interested in exploring the topic of community?
For one week, we will meet every day at JES to develop a dance performance together, which we will present on stage at the end of the week! Come alone or with friends, everyone is welcome.

It’s all about community and connection.
How do individuals become a group?

When and how do I feel connected to other people?

How does it feel in my body to (not) belong?
When do I want to be part of a group and when would I rather not?



From March 30 to April 11, 2026 at JES!
You don’t need to be able to do anything or bring anything with you – except a desire to dance!

Rehearsal times:

March 30 to April 4, always from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

AND April 7 to April 10, always from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Presentation: April 11 at 3:30 p.m.

The week will be led by Angélica (dancer and theater educator, she/her) and Eduardo (Brazilian percussionist, they/them).
The languages spoken will be German and English/Portuguese.
