Leonard Burkhardt

Leonard Burkhardt was born in Berlin. He gained his first acting experience there at the DT Jung*. After studying acting at the August Everding Theater Academy, he was a member of the ensemble at the National Theater in Mannheim for two years, and subsequently appeared as a guest performer in Mannheim, at the Schauspiel Köln, and at the Schauspielhaus Graz.

As part of the Lausitz Festival, he played the role of Othello in the 2024 and 2025 production of “Othello/Die Fremden.” His career to date has allowed him to collaborate with Jorinde Dröse, Marcel Kohler, Ayşe Güvendiren, and Christian Weise, among others. In addition to theater, Leonard Burkhardt also works in film and as a voice actor.
