Call for Applications: NEW GENERATION RESIDENCY 2026

Ten theatre makers from different countries who do not know each other will experience the festival together. They will get to know each other, exchange ideas and ask each other questions. Together they will attend plays, share their expertise and concerns in workshops, and discuss perspectives on theatre with and for young audiences. They will throw themselves enthusiastically into the unknown and explore the new. What questions does the new generation ask? And what do they question? What unites them as a generation of international theatre makers in a world that is in flux in so many different ways? How do they, as artists, authors and dramaturgs, deal with the uncertainties in this world? What new paths and (play) spaces do uncertainties bring about in them and their artistic work with and for young people?
