Who still wants to concern themselves with climate crisis? The facts are clear: The climate is changing faster than ever before, the prognosis is bleak, if we don’t do anything. At the same time, the topic is losing public attention. It’s almost as if we’ve gotten used to the idea, that it’s part of the every day. Any now?
What narratives shape our perception of the climate crisis? Who is allowed to act recklessly, and who is expected save the world? Where can frustration, anxiety, and sense of injustice go when the crisis becomes increasingly tangible, yet at the same time disappears from public debate? Approaching these topics from different perspectives, the performance explores a reality that pushes it’s future out of sight. It tells of contradictions, overwhelm, and resistance – and of ways to cope with this reality.

What stories share our perspective of the climate crisis? To whom can it not matter? Who should save the world? What to do with these bad feelings? The piece approaches our present from different perspectives. It’s about contradictions, overwhelm, and resistance. It’s also about, how to deal with it.
